For the record, I’m technically a Jew, though I’m actually an Athiest. My girlfriend, on the other hand, is a pretty decent Catholic, other than that whole, “out of wedlock” thing. Now that we live together in California, a Christmas Tree was very high on her priority list. Me? Not so much. Fortunately, I found a way to make it awesome by creating these Matchbox Car Ornaments! I have tons of Matchbox cars from all over, and by attaching small rubber bands and ornament hooks from the dollar store, I have come up with a great car-guy tree idea. Kids, if your dad likes cars, this is a great, inexpensive way to put a smile on their faces.
And I’m really sorry for the terribleness of these pictures. I’m getting a new camera this week, I swear.
