The Smoking Tire relives our old high school days by driving around LA, picking up our buddies, and going Go-Karting at Adams Motorsports Park. Is the Civic fun enough to satisfy Matt’s taste for sporting cars, while practical enough to haul around his friends and gear?

Very enjoyable episode. The civic could do without that aero kit as well as that huge i-vtec sticker on its side though.
i agree with you, it's a good car, but not for the $$$ although it may be a little more reliable than the others in the same price range…
I agree, good review highlighting the standard Honda state, great fun with only the driver.. reasonably effective on long journeys due to the slow pick up.. not sporty enough.. just a sensible option for non adventurous types which like working the stick and feeling sporty from time to time…
I think the best car in that price range to buy is definitly the 2010 VW GTI.. it is by far has the best quality materials of ANY car of its price range, it is very reliable, and the power to weight ratio is very good no to mention is has the best power to liter ratio have 210 hp to a 2.0 turbo inline 4
