The Smoking Tire heads to Mulholland Highway’s infamous “Rattlesnake” to test Ford’s new Mustang GT, featuring the return of the 5-liter engine for the first time since 1995. Host Matt Farah also gets to drag race the GT against a Camaro SS, and unsurprisingly, it’s a slaughter.

Where's the rest of the video? The drag race?
you saw all the video you need to see from the drag race in the first 30 seconds of the video. I ran 2 runs in each car, and was consistently 6 tenths faster in the mustang… in the eighth mile.
I agree. We want to see the whole thing (and times…?). How about the quarter? I know you like being dismissive towards complaints, but you really shouldn't promise a cool drag race and then only show 3 seconds of it from the hood of the mustang.
we showed everything of the race we needed to show. I ran a 9.21 @ 78 mph in the Camaro and 8.63 @ 87 in the Mustang.
Now you've really have to ask yourself which one would you buy and the options included. Brembo brakes would most definitly on my list with the stick. Wounder if that would be the same options for the V6, make even better for track days. Also are you going to show the drag race against the Camero?
we showed all we needed to show of the drag race in that 30 seconds. In reality, I drove both the cars myself, two runs each down the eighth mile, foot to the floor and power braking in both cars, and I was about 6 tenths and 9 mph faster in the Mustang both times. That's on an eighth mile. On a quarter mile, I bet the gap would be wider.
Thank You Guys Very Much for the Excellent Show.
I cant wait to see your shows.
These Mustang shows are so exciting. I love em.
Thanks and Matt.
Quit eating before I have to make you Legs and you have to drive with hand control's.
quit eating before you have to make me legs? what does that mean?
Wasn't complaining it just felt like the video ended too soon. I was expecting a bit more. I mean we got over 6 minutes of the V6 Stang but just over 4 minutes on the GT. I would have thought there would have been some good comments or remarks after the drag race too.
For those of you who want to see the drag race:

I had less overall to say about the GT, because a lot of it I already said during the V6 review, and I figured most people would watch both and I didn't need to repeat all those things all over again.
I can understand that.
Any plans to get the cars on a road track and see how they stack up? Drag racing is fun, but I want to see how it does at the limit on a road course.
I'd love to race the Mustang GT against an E90 M3 on a road course. If the opportunity comes up, you know I'll be there.
Does that car have a sunroof?
it's glass, but doesn't open.
