My buddy Roger Garbow from Full Throttle Marketing, who also represents the Carbon Fiber Club sent me over this video he shot of the left, rear wheel-well of a Porsche 997 RSR on the race track. It’s a great angle, as you can see all the suspension moving, the brakes getting red hot under threshold braking, and the crash. Wait, the crash? Ouch.

Great location for one of those cameras. The little GoPro cams really work well, especially the HD ones. Wouldn't have thought that the quality is that great, but all the videos prove me wrong.
Just goes to show how hard the suspension is actually working, even though it's not that visible outside. You can see the tire squish, the rotors glow. Mmm… not many things are better.
Would it be correct to think that this is the Farnbacher Loles car?
Yes. That would be correct. Practice before the 2009 Twelve Hour. The car went on to grab the pole for the race. Great repair effort by the crew. Too bad we won't see those guys together again…
