Video: 1000 HP Switzer E1K vs 900 HP AAM GT900 Half Mile Drag Race

Here comes some big power. In the right lane, the AAM GT900 GTR, and in the left lane, the Switzer E1K “Cornzilla” GTR. Their power figures, despite the nomenclatures, are quite similar, and this race is, thusly (that’s right bitches, I used thusly), close. Hit the jump for the video.

    That was a really short race. Would have like to see them do a couple miles, but the results are pretty much exactly what I would have expected.

    It's interesting to compare this to the video of that 1100hp Camaro racing the 1000hp Mustang. The difference between those two cars was really opposite of what I would have expected and the results of the GTR vs GTR battle was more typical. Shows how much engine configuration (in terms of twins vs singles) and the tires (Mickey Thompsons vs R888s) affect the out come of a race even if its from a roll.

    HAHAHA! Dude every post i read the nissan gtr is pwning. Dude the car can excellerate. You really shouldnt go up against that car!
