Not literally of course, but Lincoln is considering a personalization program for its cars similar to what MINI has. Because that will totally fix everything. There’s nothing about the Lincoln design that can’t be fixed with some custom-colored mirrors and a painted roof.  Same theory used by The View when they put makeup on Joy Behar. Perhaps there’s a “look like anything else” option.

    The current crop of Lincolns are a mishmash and as a company their direction is rudderless. They really need to look at their competition (re: Cadillac) and completely copy their philosophy. Cadillac until the early 2000's was also rudderless. They were trading on their former image and only selling real cars to the AARP crowd. That is the wrong demo and Cadillac knew it. GM took a gamble and decided to have a completely new design theme and focus on providing legitimate BMW/Audi/Infinity/Lexus competition. Their approach has worked and they actually sell cars that people want and their cars are worthy competitors.
