Wanted: Cop (car) gone Rogue

By Zack Klapman

For sale: bag of awesome shaped like a 1995 Chevy Caprice police car.

Price:  $4999.

Notes: 190k miles on original engine . Clean title in hand . Registered until October of 2013. Comes with push bar and spotlight, and a plastic backseat so your passengers can poop their pants and clean it up quickly (yeah, they clean it up. It’s their fault that last apex caused loss of bowel control, not yours.)

As you know from our love of The Battle Wagon, we’re a fan of old LT1-powered Caprices. This one is just way harder, faster stronger. Who wouldn’t want to own an old cop car? People get out of your way, they last forever, they’re big, comfortable, parts practically grow out of the ground. The only real problem I ever saw with a Crown Vic was 1. Automatic Trans. 2. Too slow. This guy fixed all that, and now you have a pro-touring muscle car wearing a police uniform.

Parts? Uh, yeah, it’s got parts… Jump for more info and pics on this bad boy.

This would be a sick daily driver. Police car durability, surrounding drivers fear you, capable on a road course or a drag strip, makes noise, does burnouts, pushes lesser beings out of the way, then shines the spotlight of disdain on them. Worth it? Easily.
